We are digital librarians. Among us are represented the various reasons to keep data - legal requirements, competitive requirements, uncertainty of permanence of cloud services, distaste for transmitting your data externally (e.g. Government or corporate espionage), cultural and familial archivists, internet collapse preppers, and people who do it themselves so they're sure it's done right.

I could use the desktop app to sync, but I would also like to have the ability to store files on OneDrive exclusively (unimportant files) without having to use the browser. Both services do mostly the same thing, but I wanted to hear about any pros or cons of using one app over another. I know I can use Expandrive on all of my machines with one license which is great when compared to NetDrive that has a per machine license policy and only 1 year of updates.
